Karma finds Harry Harlow. original oil painting

At the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, before our library started offering curbside service, I read my first eBooks through the library site, one of which was a collection of short stories by Lydia Millet - Love in Infant Monkeys. The scientist, Harry Harlow performed especially cruel experiments on rhesus monkeys, his name and experiments popped up in several other books over the next few months and this idea has been haunting me ever since.
